Raila Jnr calls for action over police brutality meted on JKUAT students(Watch Video)

Raila Junior Odinga has called for an action from Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) and National Police Service following police brutality that was meted on Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) on Monday morning.

JKUAT students had staged a peaceful protest to demonstrate against the rising insecurity in Juja and its environments.

In a video doing rounds on social media, police have been filmed brutally beating the demonstrating students.

This has sparked reactions on social media, with Kenyans, among them Raila Junior calling for an action against the brutal police officers.

Raila Junior through his official twitter account says the incident shows extreme police brutality being meted on students, calling for National Police to fix the insecurity in Juja without hurting the very students complaining of insecurity around the University .

“This is extreme police brutality being meted on students , @NPSOfficial_KE kindly fix the insecurity in Juja without hurting the very students complaining of insecurity around the University . @IPOA_KE follow up on this,” he tweeted.
