UK Scholarships For International Students Available, Kenyans Highly Recommended

by Mustafa Juma

The University of Derby, an ambitious, modern university in the heart of the UK is offering scholarships for undergraduate and post-graduate programs to students from Africa, with those from Kenya being highly recommended.

The University welcomes more than 1,700 international students from 100 countries studying at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, with award-winning support services.

There is a growing African student community at the University of Derby.

As a student from Africa, you could be eligible for the university’s scholarships and discounts, which can be used together to offer a reduction in fees during your first year of study.

You can apply for some scholarships once you have an offer from the university and others will be applied automatically if you are eligible.

You must be applying for a full-time degree. Applications for postgraduate research, online studies, foundation and pre-sessional language programmes are not eligible for a discount or scholarship. Terms and conditions apply.
