Embracing the spirit of togetherness and cultural celebration, Ziiki Media is thrilled to announce the release of ZiiBeats vol. 2, the amapiano and afrobeats compilation album series.

This latest installment serves as a powerful reminder of the unifying force of African music, resonating with a joyful, feel-good mood that transcends borders.
At its heart, this EP embodies the pulse of Africa— a rhythmic journey that brings together listeners from all walks of life.

From the infectious beats of amapiano to the soulful rhythms of afrobeats, each track on this album is a testament to Africa’s shared love for music and collective heritage.

This album has brought together an impressive line-up of Southern African artists such as the multi-talented producer, Yumbs, the chart-topping Marcus Harvey, music sensations Raspy and LeeMcKrazy and Grammy nominated, Zimbabwean producer, Dr Chaii.

They have collaborated with East and West African talents such as Tanzanian trailblazers, Rayvanny and Yammi, Kenya’s Lexsil, alongside Nigerian megastar Iyanya.

“We are incredibly excited about the release of ZiiBeats vol.2”, says Ria Nagar, Director of A&R and Marketing at Ziiki Media. “This project is more than just music; it is a celebration of our shared cultural heritage and the unifying power of music.

With this second installation, we aim to ignite the global dancefloor and showcase the dynamic
evolution of African music.”

The lead single and EP opener, ‘Namtaka’, introduces the infectious amapiano groove that defines the album’s essence, featuring Tanzanian artist Rayvanny and South African producer Yumbs, alongside vocals from LeeMcKrazy and Raspy.

This collaboration showcases African music’s unique ability to unite artists from diverse backgrounds.

Tracks like ‘Space’ feature local talents Marcus Harvey and Yumbs, infusing a South African flavour into afrobeats and chill-hop inspired compositions that
complement Lexsil’s Kenyana influence.

‘Walk’ maintains a mid-tempo groove blending amapiano and afrobeats, while Yammi showcases her captivating vocals on ‘My Cue’, a crossover pop/afrobeats track produced by Zimbabwean Grammy-nominee, Dr Chaii.

“The project is sure to appeal to everyone who loves a good vibe and appreciates the diversity of African music”, concludes Ria Nagar.

Ziiki Media continues to push the boundaries of music that showcase the richness and diversity of African music.

ZiiBeats vol. 2 is officially available across all DSPs.
