Suspected Al Shabaab militants last night attacked Seretho police post in Dadaab, Garissa County killing four people near Somalia border.
Two of the terrorists were however shot dead by police Tuesday morning, following the attack.
The attack occurred at Saretho area, 25 kilometers from Dadaab Refugee camp, police said.
“Two of the attackers have been killed. They had killed four people and were now trying to destroy a communication mast when they were engaged by officers,” said Police Spokesman Charles Owino.
He said the attackers were more than ten, and the others were repulsed while on a mission to cause more mayhem in the area.

“Security has been beefed up in the area,” Owino said, following the incident that occurred at 5am.
The attack comes days after two different attacks in Lamu County.
Al Shabaab militants last week attacked three Lamu-bound buses killing three, before attacking US-Kenya military base in Manda Bay, Lamu County days later.

since independence politics have not benefited common citizens any thing apart from those in power. currently Kenya has a public debt of Ksh 5.8 trillion. If these figure is share among 52 million kenyans irrespective of age, each has s public debt of Ksh 110,000 yet more than 90% don't have jobs. currently kenya has 3.6 tax payers and if Ksh 5.8 trillion is shared among them, each has a public debt of Ksh 1.7 million. when will kenyans be debt free?
