A boda boda rider who murdered and mutilated a girl’s body before stuffing her in two sacks has been found guilty.

Cyrus Ondieki is currently waiting sentencing following the verdict in a case that shocked the High Court in Kisii. The victim identified as DN died after sustaining serious injuries on her neck, back and thighs and medical reports further indicated that she was strangled.

She went missing in December 26 2018 and two days later, her injured naked body was found on a farm with her hands tied with a clothing.

In a horrifying narration by nine witnesses, all pointed a finger at the boda boda rider. The mother of the victim told the court that she found her daughter with the accused a day before she went missing. She noted that the suspect was their neighbor.

She told Justice Rose Ougo that she was informed that a body had been found in a farm and she was shocked to learn that it was her daughter’s.

When her body was found, they went to the suspect’s house and found blood splattered inside the house and slippers which she claimed belonged to her daughter.
