Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed’s husband Khalid Ahmed is dead.
According to the family, Khalid died on Thursday morning at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi after a short illness.
The family said Khalid, a father of two died at about 5am.
In March 2021,CS Amina lost her brother Esmael Mohammed Jibril, a prominent city businessman, while receiving treatment in India.
Plans for her husband’s burial are underway, given that he is a muslim.
