Liverpool

Some departures feel routine.
This one feels like the end of a chapter football won’t easily rewrite.

After nine unforgettable years at Anfield, Mohamed Salah has confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the 2025–26 season — closing the curtain on a spell that redefined both player and club.

He arrived in 2017 from Roma with pace, promise, and something to prove.
He leaves as a legend.

From Arrival to Immortality

Salah didn’t take time to settle — he exploded.

His debut season (2017/18) remains one of the greatest individual campaigns in Premier League history:

  • 32 league goals — a record for a 38-game season
  • Premier League Golden Boot (x3)
  • PFA Players’ Player of the Year (x2)
  • FWA Footballer of the Year (x2)

That season wasn’t just form. It was a warning — Salah had arrived to dominate.

And dominate he did.

Across his Liverpool career, Salah has collected:

  • Multiple Premier League Golden Boots
  • Multiple Playmaker of the Season awards
  • Repeated inclusions in PFA Team of the Year
  • Over 200 goals for Liverpool, placing him among the club’s all-time greats

From a sharp analyst’s view, his numbers are staggering.
From a fan’s perspective, they’re unforgettable.

The Trophies That Defined an Era

Salah wasn’t just about individual brilliance — he was the heartbeat of a winning machine under Jürgen Klopp.

Together, they delivered:

  • Premier League (2019/20) – ending Liverpool’s 30-year wait
  • UEFA Champions League (2018/19)
  • FA Cup
  • EFL Cup(s)
  • FIFA Club World Cup
  • UEFA Super Cup

These weren’t just trophies. They were statements.

Liverpool didn’t just return to the top — they did it with Salah leading the line, week after week.

Records, Ruthlessness and Reinvention

Salah’s Liverpool story is written in broken records:

  • Fastest Liverpool player to reach 100 Premier League goals
  • One of the highest-scoring wingers in football history
  • Consistently among the top scorers in Europe across multiple seasons

But what made him different?

Consistency.

Season after season, regardless of system tweaks or squad evolution, Salah delivered. Not in flashes — in waves.

Manchester United: His Favourite Victim

Every great player has a favourite opponent.
For Salah, it was Manchester United.

He didn’t just score against them — he dismantled them.

  • Multiple braces
  • A historic hat-trick: (Oct 24, 2021)
  • Dominant performances at both Old Trafford and Anfield
  • He is the leading goalscorer in this fixture’s history.

He became the top-scoring Liverpool player against United in the Premier League era — a statistic that carries weight far beyond numbers.

Because in football, tormenting your biggest rivals?
That’s legacy.

The Fantasy Premier League King

Beyond stadiums and silverware, Salah ruled another kingdom — Fantasy Premier League.

For years, he wasn’t just an option.
He was essential.

  • Consistently among the highest point scorers
  • Reliable captain choice week after week
  • A player managers built their teams around

In a game built on unpredictability, Salah was certainty.

Reading Between the Lines

This departure is more than a transfer story.

It is the end of a footballing identity. Salah wasn’t just Liverpool’s goalscorer — he was their rhythm, their outlet, their guarantee.

The sharp analyst sees the numbers.
The passionate fan feels the memories.
The storyteller sees the void he leaves behind.

Replacing Mohamed Salah isn’t about finding another winger.

It’s about replacing an era.

What Comes Next?

Liverpool now face the hardest task in football — rebuilding after greatness.

And Salah?

He leaves Anfield not just as a legend, but as a benchmark.

Some players pass through clubs.
Others define them.

Mohamed Salah did the latter.

The UEFA Champions League returns tonight for Night 2 of Matchday 7, and as the competition edges deeper into its decisive phase, the margins grow thinner and the pressure heavier.

A packed fixture list stretches across Europe, blending heavyweight clashes with potential banana skins — the kind of night where reputations are tested and group narratives begin to harden.

Early kick-off attention turns to Galatasaray vs Atlético Madrid (8:45pm), a fixture shaped by intensity. Galatasaray’s hostile home atmosphere meets Atlético’s streetwise European nous — a clash where discipline could matter more than flair.

At the same time, Qarabag host Frankfurt, a matchup that looks straightforward on paper but rarely is. Qarabag’s home ground has a history of unsettling more established visitors, and Frankfurt will need focus as much as quality.

Later under the lights, the spotlight shifts to a crowded slate of 11pm kick-offs. Juventus vs Benfica carries old European weight, while Bayern Munich vs Union Saint-Gilloise is a reminder that no fixture in this competition comes without consequence.

Atalanta vs Athletic Bilbao promises tempo and aggression, while Newcastle United vs PSV Eindhoven pits Premier League intensity against Dutch structure. Elsewhere, Chelsea face Pafos FC, and Slavia Prague welcome Barcelona, with the Catalans knowing Europe offers little room for complacency.

But the fixture that threatens to steal the night sits in southern France.

Marseille vs Liverpool has all the ingredients of a real scrapper — noise, physicality, and emotion. Marseille’s cauldron atmosphere meets Liverpool’s relentless tempo in a clash where control will be hard-earned and tempers may flare.

Champions League nights like this don’t just shape group tables — they shape belief. By the time the final whistles sound, Europe will look slightly different than it did before kick-off.

It has been a terrible weekend for Chelsea and Man United fans. Honestly, we expected Manchester United to be whipped in the Manchester Derby but no one expected the league leaders to drop points at home against Burnley.

I am sure the Blues were on several people’s multibets, meaning the draw was not only felt by their fans but hundreds of punters across the world.

We hope Sunday’s matches, will give us a chance to recover our money. There are thousands of matches being played today but our tipsters have carefully analyzed three matches, which give us a total of 5 odds.

Arsenal face Watford in the late evening. Mikel Arteta’s boys have picked form after a blip at the beginning of the season and our tipsters believe the guns will shoot down Claudio Ranieri’s boys.

Triple5bet have an Arsenal win at 1.45 odds, low but very sure. You can place everything you have on this match.

Fun Fact: Arsenal will go above Manchester United for the first time this season if they beat Watford. Man United were title contenders and Arsenal were relegation bound.

The biggest match of the day will be Westham against Liverpool at the London stadium. These are teams seated 4th and 3rd respectively on the table. David Moyes has done some great work Westham since last season and they are expected to challenge for European football but I don’t see them beating Liverpool. This is an easy fixture for Jurgen Klopp, so we are going for a Liverpool win at 1.79 odds.

In La liga, Atletico Madrid need to find some form if they are to defend the title they won last season. With rebuilding at Real Madrid and Barcelona, Diego Simeone’s men started the season as title favorites. However, they have not lived to expectations.

They need to go back to winning ways and I can’t see a better match to kick start their season than today’s match against Valencia. I am going for an Atletico win here, at 2.00 odds.

Today’s Odds:

Arsenal to win against Watford – 1.45 odds

Liverpool to beat West Ham – 1.79 odds

Atletico to beat Valencia – 2.00 odds

Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær heads into Saturday’s crunch tie against Tottenham Hotspurs with his head on the chopping board.

Ole has allegedly been given a last chance to save himself after last week’s humiliating 0-5 defeat at home to bitter rivals Liverpool.

It is on the background of this pressure, that most pundits are tipping the Red Devils to beat Spurs at London Stadium. In fact, everyone but United fans (for obvious reasons) want Ole’s team to win this match.

Of course the tipsters are backed by the fact that United have had quite a good record away from home since the beginning of last season, losing only one match in more than 30 on the road (that came in this month’s defeat to Leicester).

United have not lost away to Tottenham since 2018, a period in which they have only drawn one match and winning the rest. On paper, this looks like an easy fixture for the away win and with Triple5bet tipping a United win at 2.48 odds, we say it is something punters should really consider.

However, it is not going to be an easy fixture with Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo also hanging on the thread after a mixed start to the season.

Punters looking for safer options can put their money on both teams to score. The odds for this outcome is 1.59 which is very lucrative considering the fact that United have conceded six goals in four away games.

At 1.73 odds, an over 2.5 scoreline is also very possible. This fixture has always produced goals. Tottenham pumped 6 past United in October last year and the last match between these two ended 1-3 in favor of Ole’s boys.

Other EPL fixtures on Saturday are:

Leicester vs Arsenal – Kick Off 1430

Burnley vs Brentford – Kick Off 1700

Liverpool vs Brighton – Kick Off 1700

Manchester City Vs Crystal Palace – Kick Off 1700

Newcastle Vs Chelsea – Kick Off 1700

Watford Vs Southampton – Kick Off 1700

All these matches are available for betting on Triple5bet, home to the best odds in the Kenyan market. The bookmaker is giving out a 100% bonus for new customers on their first deposit and stake.

If you are an existing client, you know, the company offers a 50% bonus on their first stake of the day. This is a punter’s haven.
