Kenyan rapper Jackson Makini, alias CMB Prezzo, has refuted reports published in a section of Ugandan and Tanzanian media that he is receiving treatment at the Karen Hospital after he was recently sexually assaulted by three women in Nairobi.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with K24 Digital, Prezzo denied the allegations, citing that a section of media in East Africa have been bent on tarnishing his name since 2004 and that it is time he has to take action against them.

“I do not know where the false allegations have come from. I am well, and currently at home. From my tone in this call, you can tell on your end that everything is okay with me. (Laughs). I will ensure I dig deep into these claims so that I find out who started peddling the falsehoods. Sections of the media in East Africa have been bent on tarnishing my name since 2004. It is time I take action against them,” he said.

The reports first appeared on Uganda’s gossip tabloid xclusive.co.ug on Tuesday evening and carried afresh on Tanzania’s The Citizen on Wednesday, November 13.

The Citizen says the Mafans rapper, 39, was injected with an overdose of cocaine and Viagra before being sexually abused by three youthful women.

The publication cited “sources” as saying that the women, identified as Ruth, Vivian and Patricia, were arrested, and are being detained at Karen Police Station in Nairobi.

More troubles are seemingly brewing for Kenya’s music group Ethic Entertainment.

Just a day after moral cop Dr Ezekiel Mutua spitting venom over their new jam ‘Tarimbo’ which he said was advocating for violence against women, Kenyan socialite-turned-entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has taken the musicians’ woes further after accusing them of vanishing into thin air with her deposit after striking a business deal.

Huddah who took to her Insta Story on Saturday claimed she asked the controversial singers to record a song appreciating women and their beauty.

The Huddah Cosmetics propretor went ahead to point out that she also wanted her business featured in the song.

However, the project didn’t materialize as the group, she claimed, disappeared with her deposit never to update her on the progress.

Huddah, born Alhuda Njoroge, was reacting to Kenya Films and Classification Board (KFCB)  boss Ezekiel Mutua’s post disapproving Ethic’s new song titled “Tarimbo”.

Mutua said he had spoken to google to pull down the song from you tube.

Music group Ethic Entertainment have found themselves in deep trouble after releasing their latest jam dubbed Tarimbo that premiered on You tube Friday morning.

The song which has got the attention of moral cop Eziekiel Mutua is set to be pulled down from you tube.

The seemingly angry Mutua took to his social media account on Friday morning to notify Kenyans that he had spoken to google to pull down the song which he has termed as crap.

According to Mutua, the song advocates for rape of women.

While noting that promoting violence against women is a crime, Mutua has called for George Kinoti-led Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to arrest the entire bunch of musicians under Article 33, for going beyond the prescribed delimitations on freedom of expression by advocating for violence against women.

I have spoken to Google to take down the damn crap called Tarimbo by Ethic Entertainment which advocates for rape of women. Promoting violence against women is criminal. The DCI should arrest the entire bunch of musicians called Ethic, under Article 33, for going beyond the prescribed delimitations on freedom of expression by advocating for violence against women.

He says the current musicians and performers have defied everything decent societies holds dear and thrown morality to the four winds in the name of money and popularity.

He has cautioned all the clubs and DJs not to play such type of songs.

“When we banned Wamlambez people said we were killing creativity. I asked these nincompoops if they could shout Wamlambez to their mothers and they said they could. I was baffled. These so called musicians and performers have defied everything decent societies holds dear. They have thrown morality to the four winds in the name of money and popularity. My interpretation of Wamlambez and Tarimbo is that these are not artists. They are demented circus thugs hiding behind art to promote indecency. Any self respecting DJ should not play these songs. No club should allow music that advocates for violence against women. Unless decent people rise against the wave immorality in Kenya, we are going to lose a generation in the name of creative freedom. No freedom is absolute. This time round we must draw the line!” Mutua posted on facebook.

This is not the first time Mutua is engaging in a tussle with the new generation artists.

Takataka hit maker Alvindo and Gengetone singers Sailors gang are among the artists that have found themselves in trouble with Mutua over the content in their songs.

A few months ago, Mutua banned Sailors Gang’s Wamlambez from playing outside the clubs.

Well, Willy Paul’s Chuchuma which currently stands at 700k views was premiered on You Tube on September 11, 2019. Could the song be his original idea now that he released before Rayvanny?

Well, Kenyans reacted with some wondering with Willy Pozze’s smooth transition from gospel Industry to the world of secular as he featured twerking ladies in the video.

Rayvanny, just a few weeks after Willy Paul’s Chuchuma premiered on You tube now decided to premier his. Oooh Yes! It is a hit and Kenyans and Tanzanians fell in love with it.

The Bongo Star kept the conversation alive with his fans as the song hit half a million views on you tube in less than 20 hours. So whose song is Chuchuma?

A few months after Kenyan Hip-Hop artist Khaligraph Jones promising a fight with Kenyan Afro-Pop band Sauti Sol, the singers seem to have honored Papa Jones’ promise and turned up for a fight.

In a video shared by Saut Sol on Instagram, the band members led by Bien Baraza are seen fighting Khaligraph, accusing him of being “emaciated”.

“Na umekonda budaa,” Bien is heard saying as they rough up the OG.

Sauti Sol said that Khaligraph had paid the price on Friday night.

In a post on his Instagram account, Jones who seems to have been hitting the gym showed off his muscles that have heavily grown before comparing them to Sauti Sol’s.

“My one hand is same size with Sauti Sol’s legs when combines (Mkono Yangu Moja inatoshana na Miguu Za Wasee wote wa Sauti Sol Kama zimeshikanishwa pamoja, OG is OG, kitaeleweka, Meanwhile Leave Me Alone is Still Banging, The OG shall be respected),” he captioned one of his photos taken with his gym trainer.

Khaligraph Jones, who killed the last verse of the song seems not to have not yet moved on after Music Corporate Society of Kenya (MCSK) decided to send artists Ksh 2500 as royalties.
