Covid-19: Distribution of Kenya’s New Cases by Counties

Kenya has recorded 72 new cases of Covid-19, raising the country’s total number to 2,093.

Speaking on Tuesday June 2 at Afya House, Nairobi during the daily Covid-19 updates, Health CAS Rashid Aman has said a total of 2892 samples had been tested in the last 24 hours.

Out of the 72 new cases, a total of 39 are from Nairobi, Busia has 13, Mombasa has 8, 4 are from Kajiado, 3 from Migori, 2 from Kiambu, 2 cases are in Garissa and one case is in Kisumu.

The youngest is 11 years and oldest is 73.

Another 17 patients have been discharged, raising the recoveries to 499.

On a sad note, another two people have died, raising the deaths to 71.

82,946 total number of samples have been tested so far.
