Manchester United has parted ways with Cristiano Ronaldo.

The club said in a statement on Tuesday that Ronaldo will leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect.

Ronaldo has enjoyed two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances for Manchester United.

“Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch,” the statement reads in part.

Ronaldo’s exit follows an interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticised Man united head coach and the team board.

The penultimate Champions League match day is here starting with some scintillating games on Tuesday.

Former European powerhouses Manchester United and Barcelona face tricky away games tonight, and any misstep could see Cristiano Ronaldo, who has won five Champions League titles, play in the Europa League for the first time in his career.

Ronaldo scored a late winner when the Red Devils beat Atalanta 3-2 at Old Trafford. However, the game could have been beyond reach for Reds were it not for David De Gea’s heroics and Atalanta’s wastefulness in front of goal.

It will be a totally different story when Atalanta host Ole Gunnar’s men on Tuesday evening. Atalanta have quite a remarkable record this season, having only lost twice in front of their own fans. They need points if they are to qualify for the next round.

That coupled with the fact that United have lost seven of their last 12 Champions League matches makes this a very tricky tie.

Our pundits are predicting a home win in this fixture. Triple5bet have placed an Atalanta win at 3.04 odds, which I must say is very high considering Manchester United’s recent woes.

Spanish giants Barcelona are even in a worst possible shape ahead of a trip to Ukranian side Dynamo Kiev. Barca are currently third on the log and out of the qualifying spots for the next round. They need to beat Kiev and hope that Bayern beats Benfica.

However, that is easier said than done as Barcelona have not won any of their away matches this season. To make matters worse, they have only scored one goal away from home since August.

The club was forced to fire Dutchman Ronald Koeman last week but even that did not inspire immediate change of form as they were held to a draw by minnows Alaves.

Barcelona are the favorites in this fixture but something tells me Dynamo Kiev may surprise us. That is why I am predicting a home win at 5.06 odds on Triple5bet.

If you are crazy enough to go with an Atalanta win and Barcelona loss, you have a whopping 15 odds on Triple5bet. A Ksh 100 stake gives you some Ksh 1183after tax. It is a risky bet but also highly rewarding at the same time.

Anyone in the betting industry will tell you that there is nothing more important than a phone with reliable internet.

Betting is a game which depends on extensive research which can only happen on your phone. A good phone is even critical when it comes to those of us who are kings of live betting.

Do you remember when Manchester United’s Pogba got his marching orders in the game against Liverpool last weekend? It was the moment most of us knew that the Red Devils were unlikely to score any goal.

A few dare devil punters made a kill from that bet alone.

Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær heads into Saturday’s crunch tie against Tottenham Hotspurs with his head on the chopping board.

Ole has allegedly been given a last chance to save himself after last week’s humiliating 0-5 defeat at home to bitter rivals Liverpool.

It is on the background of this pressure, that most pundits are tipping the Red Devils to beat Spurs at London Stadium. In fact, everyone but United fans (for obvious reasons) want Ole’s team to win this match.

Of course the tipsters are backed by the fact that United have had quite a good record away from home since the beginning of last season, losing only one match in more than 30 on the road (that came in this month’s defeat to Leicester).

United have not lost away to Tottenham since 2018, a period in which they have only drawn one match and winning the rest. On paper, this looks like an easy fixture for the away win and with Triple5bet tipping a United win at 2.48 odds, we say it is something punters should really consider.

However, it is not going to be an easy fixture with Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo also hanging on the thread after a mixed start to the season.

Punters looking for safer options can put their money on both teams to score. The odds for this outcome is 1.59 which is very lucrative considering the fact that United have conceded six goals in four away games.

At 1.73 odds, an over 2.5 scoreline is also very possible. This fixture has always produced goals. Tottenham pumped 6 past United in October last year and the last match between these two ended 1-3 in favor of Ole’s boys.

Other EPL fixtures on Saturday are:

Leicester vs Arsenal – Kick Off 1430

Burnley vs Brentford – Kick Off 1700

Liverpool vs Brighton – Kick Off 1700

Manchester City Vs Crystal Palace – Kick Off 1700

Newcastle Vs Chelsea – Kick Off 1700

Watford Vs Southampton – Kick Off 1700

All these matches are available for betting on Triple5bet, home to the best odds in the Kenyan market. The bookmaker is giving out a 100% bonus for new customers on their first deposit and stake.

If you are an existing client, you know, the company offers a 50% bonus on their first stake of the day. This is a punter’s haven.

Once a promising midfielder at Manchester United Richard Eckersley didn’t know that things would turn out different for him. He trained with the current Manchester United’s sensation Christiano Ronaldo but now sells milk.

He last played for Manchester United in 2009 although his final professional game came in 2015 with Oldham Athletic. In an instant interview, Eckersley revealed that Oldham had no money he was from a wedding and had a small baby. ” I told my wife that I wanted to quit football. It was a relief, I had money to last six months or the whole year,” he told The Athletic.

He says he’s been thinking about Ronaldo’s comeback at Manchester United because the last time they were together. “The last time he was there I was there, I was training with him, and now I am a dairy man and I sell oat milk,” he opened up.

The former midfielder was asked about the details of his current life and he quickly pointed out what makes him happy. He said they’re currently producing 25000 liters of milk per month in glass bottles, he loves the fact that everything is reusable and it’s a circular business model. Having 22 employees, he targets to be the largest milk distributor in the UK in the next five years.

Man united went into the game in red hot form as they conquered bitter rivals Liverpool in a five goal thriller at the FA Cup fourth round tie just days before.

It was looking like man united had just regained their dominance once again, as in the days of Sir Alex Fergusson. Ole Gunner Solsjkaer made five changes to the side that beat Liverpool, with Martial being preferred upfront to Edinson Cavani.

Chris Wilder also made four changes to his side as he was set to stage a fight at the legendary Old Trafford.

The game started with high level energy as both sides looked to keep constant pressure on each other, but this led to a worry on the man united team early in the game as Martial suffered a slight shoulder injury.

However, the medical team did its job and fortunately the French skipper was back on the pitch just minutes later.

Ten minutes into the game, Aaron Wan Bissaka got behind Mousset to deliver a beautiful cutback to Marcus Rashford, but the English International steered it wide off the post.

This was the closest man united came to open the scoring in the first minutes of the first half.

Thirteen minutes later, a well swung cross from a corner kick was headed goal wards by Kean Bryan and Sheffield was in front.

It was all shambles at the back as man united again conceded from a set piece in the Premier league. To cement their status at the top, they now had to do it the hard way, by coming from behind.

It was looking like a goal for man united in the 29th minute when Martial hit the ball past the net from point blank range, but the goal was quickly ruled out for a foul on the Sheffield goalie.

Man united edged closer to leveling the score with a couple of minutes to the end of the first half but were denied by superb defending from the veteran Phil Jagielka who returned to the club after a long spell with the toffees with the aim of helping them survive in the Premier league.

On the other end,, things were also getting fired up as Tuanzebe tracked back and produced a crucial stop to McGoldrick’s  easy tap in , and at half time, Sheffield united lead.

Coming back into the second half, Man united looked to bounce back, but Mason Greenwood missed his chance early on to even the score.

The hosts kept pushing and pushing, and at the 64th minute they were awarded a corner kick from which they took clinically, with Harry Maguire, the one-time Sheffield boy, at the end of it.

Disappointment for Chris Wilder as his team really defended well. The reds again missed their chance to add to the score sheet as Cavani, who entered as a substitute, drove his chance wide of goal.

The blades’ disappointment however did not last long, as horrible marking in the final third of man united saw Ollie Burke have a shot at goal, which went past De Gea with the help of a deflection.

Horrible horrible marking, but this was joy for the active travelling side.

Sheffield maintain their drop back tactic and maintained decent shape which saw them cling to three vital points which were fully deserved keeping in mind the load of defending they had to do.

Man united on the other hand were poor going forward, but all in all, they look to get back to winning ways when they travel to North London to face old time rivals Arsenal.

This result could have long – term ramifications at both ends of the table, as Sheffield earn three very important points to get them out of the relegation zone, and Man united lose three , increasing the gap between them and  league leaders Manchester city.

What a night for Sheffield united, as they become only the third side from Yorkshire to win at Old Trafford in the premier league era since 1974.

Premier League giants Manchester United have already strengthened their defence and forward departments in the summer transfer window by signing players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James.

However, they are yet to identify a quality player and invest in that midfield position. Reports are now stating that they could sign Premier League star Declan Rice for a reported £100 Million deal.

According to a report carried by Express, Manchester United will have to shell out as much as £100 Million if they want to draft in Declan Rice from West Ham United. The English star has been a pivotal figure for West Ham United since the previous season and has even become a regular part of the national team.

Manchester United were linked with Rice in the recently concluded summer as they were looking for someone who could partner or even replace Paul Pogba. The Red Devils were also at one point close to signing Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Bruno Fernandes but none of the deals materialised.

Since a lot of other teams were interested in him, the Hammers have put a huge price tag for him. Rice has as many as four years remaining on his contract and this means that Manchester United will find it hard to get the price down.

On the other hand, Manchester United might themselves lose some of the available midfield options. Pogba has been linked with a move to various clubs while Juan Mata is also being linked with a move out of the club.

It remains to be seen if the deal concerning Rice materialises though.
