Two teachers on Tuesday caused a scene at Kambu police post after storming the post to escape the wrath of an irate mob baying for their blood.

It is alleged that the two Makueni-based teachers declined to share a million shillings from a politician who was campaigning in the area.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Chief, George Kinoti, the two teachers teaching at two local primary schools stormed Kambu police post and went straight behind the report office desk with dozens of motorbike riders hot in their pursuit.

The duo took cover behind surprised officers manning the desk. They bled with them to protect them from an angry mob that was baying for their blood.

“The officers who had a difficult time trying to clam down the mob learnt that the two men seeking refuge behind their backs, had allegedly been given a token of Ksh 1 million by a politician who was camping in the area earlier in that day,” said Kinoti.

The irate riders claimed that instead the two sharing the incentive with them and women selling merchandise in the market, they took off with the money.

“While officers tried to manage the situation, some members of the unruly mob became impatient and started hurling projectiles at them demanding that the two be released to face instant justice,” said Kinoti.

Reportedly, the officers had to recall a reinforcement from Mtito a Ndei Police Station. They managed to disperse the crowd but some of the infuriated riders who could not come to terms with the loss, kept peeping to catch a glimpse of the ongoings in the police post. Kinoti has said investigations into the matter have began.

The controversial lawyer speculates that his vehicle might have been detained most likely to install surveillance devices.

“To @DCI_Kenya Kinoti: At around 12:30PM today, 5 heavily-armed Flying Squad officers now calling themselves “Special Service Unit” ILLEGALLY SEIZED my vehicle from @FerdinandOgumah in Nairobi and detained it, most likely to install SURVEILLANCE DEVICES. Release my vehicle! ” he posted.

The fugitive controversial private investigator is on the run and DCI George Kinoti has described her as a serial outlaw wanted for various criminal activities including robbery with violence.

The directorate of criminal investigations is still on the hunt for Jane Wawira Mugo who claimed to be a private detective for years.

Jane Wawira Mugo, a powerful and ruthless woman who fashioned herself as an undercover cop prominently features in a fraud case in which a Russian national, Vladimir Borisenko was conned a whooping sh22 million.

According to a local daily, her company, Trimo Security had been hired to help recover the money and trace the suspects who had gone underground.

But instead Mugo hijacked the moment as a windfall opportunity only to collude with the thieves, clearing agents at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to share the loot.

She later schemed a move that forced the frighten foreigner into escaping from the Country after he started receiving death threats from the very people who were supposed to held him recover his money.

But speaking to Citizen TV on Thursday, Jane said the warrant of arrest issued against her has been fuelled by an investigation case she has been working on that reveals alleged corruption among top security officials in the government.

“I am not surprised because I saw it coming, and I had already been prepared by some of the officers I had worked with, I had already been told that since I am working on a sensitive matter, and the matter is touching on some senior government officials… So it is a total witch hunting of the people in government who feel they are untouchable,” said Ms. Wawira.

Jane Mugo has been a private investigator since 2010, undertaking various training, including a criminology course to better her knowledge.

She says the warrant of arrest from people she has worked with is nothing less than a betrayal.
