According to Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria, who is also a staunch Tanga Tanga member, The DP will attend the Meru BBI rally.

Ruto will be attending the rally alongside its brainchild the ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

The rally is scheduled for February 29, 2020, with Moses Kuria noting that it will be the best rally so far.

“The Meru BBI rally on 29th February will be the best so far. If inclusivity is one of the aspirations of the BBI, this will be the hallmark of the Meru rally with the Deputy President H.E Dr William Ruto set to attend for the first time alongside former Prime Minister Rt Hon Raila Odinga. This is the Kenya we want,” he posted on facebook.

Wanga elders have today warned Luhyas against electing people that crippled Mumias Sugar Company when they had power to save the only economic source in western province.

Speaking at a meeting in shiembekho restaurant in Matungu constituency, Mr. Peter Mumia Shitawa who is the current Nabongo warned Luhyas against electing those leaders that had evidence that would take Kidero to jail for freezing Mumias sugar on the governorship position.

Up to date millions of residents of Mumias youth dropped out of school as they soley depended on Mumias Sugar Company as their main source of income. Mr. Shitawa asked Luhyas not to vote for Ayub Savula and Bonny Khalwale as governor for it will be suicidal to their economy as people will languish in poverty forever.

Lugari MP and Kakamega gubernatorial aspirant in 2022 Ayub Savula who is a former journalist is said to have had massive intensive evidence against Dr. Evans Kidero, the then Mumias sugar company CEO.

The evidence could have seen Kidero’s property repossessed and Mumias sugar reopened.

When Kidero knew the massive evidence against him was going to bring him down, he approached Ayub savula with a bribe totaling to 300 million shillings.

Savula on the other hand rejected the bribe and asked Kidero to show him “how to fish” from the sweat of Luhyas.

This is when Kidero introduced savula to the business of importing cheap sugar from Uganda and repackaging it into Mumias sugar company packets.

The two became millionaires and hence the source of Savula’s massive wealth and intention to become the governor.

On the other hand former Kakamega senator Dr.  Bonny Khalwale tabled massive evidence against Kidero in the senate.

This evidence was enough to impeach Kidero as the governor of Nairobi should he have been found guilty of corruption.

Kidero being a corruption mafia, he summoned the poor beggar khalwale to a hotel in Uganda and offered him a bribe worth 20 million., the money the polygamous khalwale could not reject and ended up selling the Luhya people to the dogs.

Should the people of Kakamega County listen to peter, the second Mumia, then it is obvious that Khalwale and Savula stand no chance of becoming governors of Kakamega county come 2022 and should not waste their finances on the campaigns.

Currently Kakamega County stands as one of the most developed counties after the introduction of devolved system of government.

Contrary to what many believe, Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Malala will have a rough time to ascend to power in 2022 as the governor of the second largest county in kenya, Kakamega.

Daily trends did an in-depth analysis on his 2022 gubernatorial candidature and here the findings:-

  1. Non Luhya- senator Malala ancestral background does not trace him to Luhya land. His roots are in Luo land Siaya County to be specific. Malala, the shackles of doom drama teacher is said to have found himself in western after his father buying land in Butere constituency after being ex communicated in Siaya County which borders butere. Malala does not know how to speak Luhya to date apart from the word “’Mulembe”’ which means greetings.
  2. Unlike his political competitors, Malala does not have a solid voter base region. In Kakamega County there are three voter base regions and for one to ascend to power they must have a stronghold voter base support. These voter base regions are the Wanga region, the Isukha region and the Kabras region. The current governor Wycliffe Oparanya controls the Wanga region while Isukha region is controlled by the former Kakamega senator bony khalwale who is also a candidate in the 2022 gubernatorial elections.  I the Wanga region where Malala resides, there are several candidates who are natives of the region and the strongest among will automatically be endorsed by the wanga elders.
  3. Poor relationship with Oparanya: Powers close to the governor informed daily trends that Oparanya and Malala do not see eye to eye. Let it be remembered that Oparanya is also the deputy party leader for ODM and a close confidant of Raila Odinga. To get party tickets of ODM in western is impossible if one doesn’t have a good rapport with Oparanya. It goes without saying that Malala will not be given the ODM party ticket in 2022.
  4. Poor relationship with ANC and other Luhya leaders- Malala is on record not once not twice for disrespecting the ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi amongst other luhya leaders in western province. Currently ANC is the political party that sponsored malala to senate and with his indiscipline case he is more likely to be denied the party ticket come 2022. Actually ANC will not give him the party ticket as indicated by the ANC national youth league chair Nathaniel Akadima in a presser given to the media late last year.
  5. Fall out with Atwoli-Malala who was initially known as Atwoli’s last born child, having been brought to the county politics by Atwoli has been abandoned by his political godfather and Secretary General Central organization of trade unions Francis Atwoli. This is after Malala embezzled over 3 million shillings given to him by Atwoli to organize the BBI rally in kakamega and he ended hiring low end public address systems that resulted to sound problems at the rally. Something that annoyed Mzee Francis Atwoli and made him keep silent on malala. Sources close to Atwoli indicate that Atwoli is in the process of looking for another favorite candidate that he will name in his list of 2022 preferred candidates as indicated in the Bukhugu BBI rally.
  6. Sexual harassment of his communication team- Margret Nechesa popularly known as “sasha” who is a camera lady at the Malala communications team has on several occasions come out in public on sexual harassment from the senator. She says the senator wants sex every time and anywhere every time they are on official duty. Failure to this she is threatened to be fired.
  7. Financial constraints- Malala being a first timer in senate, he has not accumulated enough wealth to run a gubernatorial campaign of the second most populated county in Kenya. This has been seen in his craftiness behavior whenever he is trusted with money by people. This has been seen by the way he has handled the Malala Cup donor funds and the BBI money amongst others.

Lugari MP Ayub Savula, the man behind the 2.4 billion contract scandal at the government advertising agencies is using Cyprian nyakundi to defame several Kakamega gubernatorial aspirants in efforts to scare them from the Kakamega governorship race in 2022.

Savula, a former journalist used his power as the MP of Lugari to fraud  the government 2.4 billion in efforts to solicit money for his 2022 campaigns.

The Kakamega gubernatorial race candidates include Senator Cleophas Malala, former Kakamega senator Bonny Khalwale among others.

Nyakundi who hails from Kisii County is a known blogger who earns a living by defaming and soliciting money from corporate institutions by threatening to publish articles that defame them.

In 2018, Savula declared his interest in the Kakamega gubernatorial race and does not welcome competition from any possible competitor.

Currently the main stream media has given savula a complete airtime shutdown and as a defense mechanism he has tuened to the serial jailbird Cyprian nyakundi to help him campaign for his 2022 presidential aspirant.

This are kicks of a dying horse from the incompetent Member of Parliament who is also appointed his two  wives as the managers of Lugari CDF money.

It should be remembered that Cyprian nyakundi was arrested early this year for soliciting 17.5 million from Victoria bank on a story he threated to publish on his site.

Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has revealed the total number of Kenyans who viewed Mzee Daniel Moi’s body at Parliament Buildings.

According to Muturi, 72,500 Kenyans managed to view Mzee Moi’s body on Monday only.

A total of over 213,000 people were able to view the body by the end of public viewing on Monday evening.

The parliament on Monday extended the body viewing by one hour to allow more Kenyans view the body.

The number of members of the public arriving at Parliament to see Moi grew exponentially as the deadline approached.

24,863 people turned up to see the body at Parliament Buildings on Saturday while another 115,637 viewed the body on Sunday.

While public viewing of the body has officially come to a close, an official interdenominational prayer service awaits the former head of state at the Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i has gazetted February 11th as a public holiday to mourn the late President Moi.

Sunday, President Kenyatta arrived at Nyayo Stadium to check on the progress of preparing the venue for the last public function before Moi’s burial.

Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala is a lonely man after being put on blackout by the Central Organization Trade union (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli.

Sources close to Atwoli disclose that Malala was tasked the duty of organizing the Bukhungu BBI rally given over Ksh. 3 million by Atwoli to organize the BBI meeting at Bukhungu stadium.

He ended up using less than half a million on the organization of the Rally. This then led to the use of low quality public address system- something that did not go well with Atwoli.

Malala is believed to have been brought to the Kakamega senatorial race by Francis Atwoli who not only endorsed him but funded his campaign.

Malala being given a cold shoulder by Atwoli will prove difficult for him to ascend to the governor position in 2022 after the exit of ODM deputy party leader Wycliffe Oparanya considering that Atwoli is a respected elder of the Luhya community and majority of the residents of the county listen to him.

Malala is not a new face to the media limelight as in November 2019 he was expelled from the ANC party on grounds of indiscipline and disloyalty.

Malala is an expected gubernatorial candidate for the Kakamega governorship in 2022 and the silence from Atwoli is a threat to his political career.

Fire on Sunday evening razed a section of Kisumu County offices.

During the incident, most computers at IFMIS office were destroyed before the fire was contained.

However, questions have continued to rise following the incident.

Over the recent past, most offices, especially finance offices have been razed down in what many are now speculating to be a way of destroying evidence.

This has been happening mostly in devolved units suspected of corruption.

In September 2017, fire burnt down Migori County offices leading to the destruction of crucial documents.

The former Auditor General Edward Ouko was unable to audit the county since Ksh 1.5 billion receipts were missing.

The cause of the fire that razed the Migori County Procurement stores remained unknown.

In July 2019, the Kitui County Finance offices were razed down by a fire.

A year before the incident,  a fire broke out at a private building housing the Kitui County Government offices.

The fire destroyed vital documents and property in five departments. Environment, Tourism and Education were among the departments affected.

In September 2019, Busia County finance offices were gutted by a fire that broke out at 2am.

The incident that destroyed property of unknown value happened within the vicinity of a fire engine at the county headquarters.

A statement from the county stated that investigations were underway to establish what started the inferno.

This trend among Counties has now continued to raise questions, with many now speculating that the county chiefs are intentionally destroying evidences in graft allegations.

Raymond Moi, Mzee Daniel Moi’s son has finally revealed the former head of state’s real age.

Speaking during a service for the second President of Kenya at his Kabarnet Gardens home in Nairobi, Raymond said that Mzee Moi died aged 105 years.

He further trashed what had been reported in the media earlier.

“We read in the magazines and newspapers that Mzee was 95 years old, but Mzee was not 95 and I think many of you have surmised that,” the Rongai MP was quoted by The Standard.

He also spoke about Moi’s friend by the name Eric Barnett, who at 103 years now, stated that he was slightly younger than the country’s second president.

“Mr Barnett today is 103 years old. He and Mzee used to play football when they were young,” he added.

“When we used to play football, we used to plead with Mzee not to break our legs, because he was much older than us,” he quoted Barnett.

Therefore, given that Moi was slightly older than Barnett by approximately two or three years, The Standard reports that the family calculated his real age to be at least 105.

It’s not clear yet whether the family will change the age to officially show that he was born in 1914 instead of the widely recognised and accepted 1924.

After the passing of the former president on Tuesday at the Nairobi Hospital, his long-time press secretary Lee Njiru put Moi’s real age at between 102 and 103 years.

“Although his ID indicated he was born 1924 that was not the correct age…Mzee Moi says he’s older than Jeremiah Nyaga and Charles Njonjo,” Njiru said.

Former Attorney General Njonjo celebrated his 100th birthday two weeks ago while the late Nyaga was reportedly born in 1920.

Moi will be laid to rest at his Kabarak farm in Nakuru on Wednesday after a memorial service on Tuesday at Nyayo Stadium.

Today (Monday) marks his last day of lying in the state at Parliament Buildings, with public body viewing also coming to an end.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday February 9, 2020 drove himself to Nyayo stadium to inspect the ongoing preparations for the late former President Daniel Moi’s funeral service.

Mzee Moi’s funeral service is set for Tuesday February 11, 2020 at the refurbished Nyayo stadium.

The day was declared a public holiday of observation to allow Kenyans mourn the former head of state.

Moi’s body is currently lying in state at Parliament buildings for the second day of public viewing.

The body will in the evening be taken back to Lee Funeral home to wait for tomorrow (Monday) where it will lie in state for its final third day.

Mzee Moi’s body viewing on Sunday was halted briefly for the public at Parliament buildings to allow Kibaki to pay his last respect to the man he once served under as Vice President.

Earlier reports, however, indicated that the media was not allowed to broadcast the arrival of the country’s third president at parliament.

Sunday is the second day when Kenyans are being allowed to view the body which lie-in-state for three days until Monday, Feb 10.

Among other leaders expected to view the body on Sunday is ODM chief Raila Odinga, who was away on official duty in Ethiopia on Saturday when the exercise began.

The procession will on Tuesday morning lead to Nyayo stadium where the funeral service will be held.

From Nyayo, Moi’s body will be flown to Kabarak in Nakuru County where it will be interred.

It was Mzee Moi’s wish to be buried next to his late wife Lenah Moi who died in 2004.

The development came after Kenyans on social media raised eyebrows on the whereabouts of the former president as key Government officials led by President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto trooped Parliament building to view the body of the late Moi.

Other dignitaries yet to view  Moi’s body include the ODM leader Raila Odinga who was sent to represent President Uhuru at AU summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but is expected to view the body today.
